Tell others about us

We don’t have big budgets for advertising campaigns, and our supporters spreading the word about what we do is the main way in which we get known.

Here’s what you can do to help:

Join our Facebook Fan Page

If you’re on Facebook, please become a fan of Habitat for Humanity GB – you can find us at www.facebook.com/habitatforhumanitygb. By becoming a fan, you’ll be helping to make your Facebook network aware of us – especially if you go to our page, and click the ‘share’ button and select your friends to share us with. Then perhaps they will become friends too!

We’ll be able to let you know, through Facebook, when our website has been updated, and the latest news – and of course you can comment on any of these things, or ask questions, and we’ll respond to you.

Forward our Ezines

We send out ezines to everyone whose email address we have - so if you don’t currently receive ezines and would like to, please either log in on the website and give us your email address or email SupporterServices@habitatforhumanity.org.uk and request to receive the Ezine. And if you know anyone else that might be interested in what we do, please do forward our ezines on to them.

The more websites that link to our website, the better chance we stand of appearing at the top in search engines. That in turn means that more people can find our site and discover more about our work. If you have a personal, community, business or church website, please consider linking to us by including our web address (www.habitatforhumanity.org.uk) on your site and help more people discover our vital work to eliminate poverty housing worldwide.

Help out at an event

We are always looking for people to come and help us at various events through the year. So if you are passionate about the issues of poverty housing (and in particular, if you’ve been on a Global Village short term overseas volunteering trip) and enjoy talking to others about Habitat for Humanity, please get in touch, because we need you!
