Rob Roy 2007
On Saturday 21st June 2007 588 people braved the rain and the cold to take part in the 55 mile Rob Roy Challenge. Participants walked and cycled from Drymen to Kenmore taking between 8 and 12 hours to complete the course. The event raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for the good causes of which Habitat for Humanity was one. Next years event takes place on Saturday 23rd June so take a look at the video to see what the event involves.

In June 2007 60 volunteers from the UK joined others from the USA and South Africa to build 12 houses in Mfuleni near Cape Town.

First Habitat homes built in Ireland
Four families in Dublin take the keys to their new homes. Courtesy of RTE News. The homes are the first to be completed by Habitat for Humanity in Ireland and it will mean the completion of the 1,000th home by Habitat for Humanity in the Europe/Central Asia region.
