Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon

New Wine – Saturday 25 July - Saturday 8 August 2009

Habitat for Humanity will once again be running a cafe at New Wine this summer at the Bath and West County Showground in Shepton Mallet.

In order to run the cafes effectively we need to recruit a number of volunteers for each of the respective weeks. (This year New Wine London and South East runs from 25 - 31 July and New Wine Central and South West from 2 - 8 August). Ideally we would like to recruit 12 volunteers per week. The cafes open from 10.30am - 6.00pm and then from 8.45pm - 11.00pm. All volunteers are required to help out during the 2 busiest times of the day, from 10.30am - 12 noon and from 8.45pm - 10.30pm. A rota system will be operated, therefore everyone will be given plenty of free time, allowing them to attend conferences, meet up with friends and relax.

The best part of course, is that volunteers get free entry to the conference for the week, a camping pitch is provided free of charge, as are breakfast, lunch and an evening meal. The work is not too heavy, and it is a great chance to meet new people, having a bit of fun in the process.

Just Bike – Saturday 3 October 2009

Just Bike is the brand new fundraising event from Across the Divide, the creators of Just Walk.

You can choose either the 50km route or the BIG 100km route. Both are circular and both start and finish at Coate Water Country Park near Swindon

Just Walk – Saturday 15 May 2010

Following another fantastic Just Walk event earlier in the year we will be taking part in the next event in May 2010.

You can choose various routes ranging from the easy 10km to the mammoth 60km walk all set in the beautiful West Sussex South Downs.
