New Wine – 26 July – 9 August 2008
Habitat for Humanity will once again be running a cafe at the New Wine event in Shepton Mallet, Somerset this summer.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help us run the cafe and spread the word about Habitat for Humanity. Volunteers will receive free entry to the event and all meals are included. For more information please contact Rob Chidley on 01295 220181 or email rchidley@habitatforhumanity.org.uk .
Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon –
Sunday 12 October 2008
On Sunday 12 October the very first Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon will take place in London and Habitat for Humanity has reserved 10 places for this exciting day.
The route winds through Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James's Park and along the River Thames amongst avenues of beautiful autumnal trees, taking in superb views of Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Marble Arch, the London Eye and the Royal Albert Hall. Over 12,500 runners will take part in this, London's very first half marathon, and you could be there running and raising funds for Habitat for Humanity.

One Life Live – Friday 13 – Sunday 15 March 2009
Following a fantastic show earlier this year, Habitat for Humanity will once again be attending the One Life Live show in March 2009.

Just Walk – Saturday 9 May 2009
Following a very successful Just Walk 2008, Habitat for Humanity will once again be taking part in the charity hike in 2009.
The beautiful South Downs in West Sussex are the setting for the event and participants can choose to walk 20km, 40km, or the big 60km route whilst raising money for Habitat for Humanity.
