In January 2012 it will be 2 years since the devastating earthquake in Haiti. The earthquake damaged nearly 190,000 homes. Of the more than two million affected survivors, over 500,000 are still displaced and living in settlement sites.
Habitat for Humanity any many other organisations are working tirelessley to help the Haitian people to recover and rebuild. Our projects include rebuilding in the Santo community of Leogane, near to the seismic epicentre. The project will create 650 homes, along with a community centre, school, health clinic and a recreational field.
