Volunteer With Us

Throw job titles and positions aside, immerse yourself in another culture, and unite employees together as a collective force to lift families out of poverty.

Turn Empty Spaces into Homes

Our Empty Spaces to Homes projects see vacant commercial properties in Great Britain turned into safe and decent shelter.

As a volunteer, you and your team will work side by side to renovate and refurbish inhabitable spaces for vulnerable groups such as women fleeing domestic abuse, young care leavers, and homeless veterans.

Activities your team could get involved with include:

  • Clearance and demolition work
  • Upcycling pre-loved furniture
  • Hammering, sawing, digging, and more.

Past projects have seen teams of dedicated volunteers coming together to renovate play areas for disabled children, housing for young people leaving the care system and more.

Join Our Global Village

Global Village is our overseas volunteering programme that offers our partners the opportunity to volunteer for 8-10 days in teams of 15-50 employees.

During your time in-country, 5 days are spent building a home on site in addition to a welcome and farewell ceremony with the local community.

Following the Covid pandemic, and the rising cost of living/inflation, Global Village opportunities have been limited to specific locations.

If you are interested in your company volunteering as part of our Global Village programme, please get in contact for further details.

One of our homeowners was at a loss for words when given an opportunity to speak to the room; the other was eager to share her gratitude. In their own ways, each was clearly and profoundly happy. Kirsty, Wells Fargo
I felt the trip to Romania was a particularly rewarding experience. It was really great to be part of a scheme that the AG put on, and I really felt like I was contributing to something very worthwhile. Nicholas, Addleshaw Goddard
As a team building and bonding exercise, I have to admit that this was probably the best activity I have ever undertaken. Not only in my 19 years at COINS but including school, college and my pre-COINS career. Undertaking physical work together, outside - without the distraction of phones, laptops, emails, and the general day-to-day stress of COINS life left us free to communicate on a truly personal level. Alex Smyrl, COINS
