This Christmas, Let’s Build Homes and Grow Dreams

For Vitiwe, home was a constant challenge

As the holidays draw near, we often think of home as a warm, safe space filled with comfort and hope. But for families like Vitiwe’s in Mapepe, Zambia, “home” has meant living in fear of storms, worrying about the walls crumbling under heavy rains and spending hours each day on the exhausting task of fetching water.

Thanks to Habitat for Humanity supporters, Vitiwe’s life has been transformed. Today, her new home offers not only safety, but the stability to grow. She has begun a small vegetable business and for the first time, is able to support her grandchildren with confidence and pride.

This Christmas, help families like Vitiwe’s find peace and opportunity. A donation, doubled by our match funder, could provide the materials for a secure, lockable door.
