In Mapepe, Zambia, our water initiatives are more than just installations – they’re a partnership with the community, ensuring that clean water brings lasting change and a brighter future, where home equals health.

Elina, a resident and community board member, helps manage the upkeep of the new Habitat for Humanity water point.

“The community board works to ensure everyone in the neighbourhood has access to the safe and clean water facilities that Habitat for Humanity has provided. I make sure that the pump and taps are working correctly and I report any issues that need repair” says Elina.
