Ross is currently Group Finance & Strategy Director at the John Lewis Partnership. He is responsible for strategy, corporate finance, financial performance reporting and analysis,  and financial control and external reporting for JLP and its two trading brands, Waitrose & Partners and John Lewis & Partners.

Ross joined JLP as a Graduate Trainee in 2001. He spent 20 years in Waitrose, including 7 years in store management, and then leadership roles in Retail, Strategy, Online and Transformation, before becoming Finance Director in 2019. He then moved into Group roles, spending 4 years as Group Strategy Director before taking up his current role in 2024.
