Our Board of Trustees is responsible for ensuring that Habitat for Humanity GB is managed in line with our vision and mission, that we abide by our charitable objectives, and that we are compliant with legal and statutory requirements. They are also inspirational leaders with exceptional knowledge of key areas of our work.

Alistair Mugford

Alistair is Chair of HfHGB Homes and Trustee of HfHGB. He first became involved with the charity in 2006 after volunteering on a build of 'half-way' homes for former homeless people and worked with the charity at seeking new project opportunities. In 2010, he worked with HfHI in Haiti in the earthquake response programmes. He is a civil and structural engineer by profession and works in consultancy and development fields, where he has a keen interest in sustainability and reuse initiatives in construction and beyond.

Holly Carter

Dr. Holly Carter is the first Executive Director and Dean of Harlaxton College. She has undergraduate degrees in French and social work, a master’s degree in social work, has a MPhil from the University of Glasgow and a PGCHE from the University of Surrey Roehampton, an MPH with a focus in community health from North Texas Health Science Center, as well as a PhD from the University of North Texas. Dr. Carter’s academic field is medical sociology.
