Tum has worked at Habitat for Humanity Great Britain since May 2016, and been CEO since 2018. With a background in digital communications and marketing, Tum started in the not-for-profit space working at national deaf blind charity Sense, after which he moved into the international development sector with roles at FARM Africa, and Action Against Hunger, among others.
Tum has strong experience in many areas of fundraising and Non Governmental Organisational strategy and management, and is able to work with teams to identify the best opportunities to drive mission impact and fundraising.
Director of Development
I ensure that we make the most of our relationships with our donors, partners, volunteers and followers to deliver the best impact for the communities we support. My day to day job is never the same, some days I work with our incredible corporate partners to support impactful programmes in Malawi, Cambodia, Ethiopia, India, Poland and the UK, other days I work with the team to deliver inspiring stories encouraging our supporters to get more deeply involved in our work. I manage an incredible team of fundraisers and storytellers and look forward to learning something new from our work around the world every day.
Lisa Campbell Price
Empty Spaces to Home Coalition and Campaign Manager
I look after The Empty Spaces to Homes Campaign and am the first point of contact for all things coalition related. Together, with coalition members, we are producing a Tool Kit that will enable a whole variety of entities to help us in the renovation/ retrofit of empty spaces into homes. Having worked with a whole host of small charities in the past, this project is important to me as it highlights the desperate need of safe and affordable housing for the most vulnerable within society. It also gives a real, tangible solution to the issue of empty spaces that would otherwise remain unused and fall into further disrepair.
Head of Finance and Administration
Victoria is responsible for strategic finance and operational support. She directs and manages the charity’s financial activities ensuring that operations are aligned with financial systems and policies, collectively providing effective support to the organization as it grows.
Prior to Habitat, Victoria served as the Global Finance Manager for the Humanitarian Leadership Academy at Save the Children UK.
Individual Giving Manager
I oversee fundraising from individual supporters – covering everything from our communications plans, appeals and newsletter production, writing and designing content, and looking after our legacy programme. It’s inspiring to share stories from our work around the world with our incredible donors and to see how their support is changing the lives of families in housing poverty.
Head of Impact
Akira's role is to increase the effectiveness and funding of our programmes by working with institutional donors, foundations, and trusts. He writes proposals for new projects and manages grants and budgets to ensure that all of the anticipated projects will run smoothly for Habitat for Humanity Great Britain.
Database and Income Processing Officer
My role is to look after the database to ensure that all of our records are up to date and accurate. I also support the finance team to process any income that we receive from appeals and fundraising activities. I run reports on Raisers Edge for different departments when required and also provide step by step training on how to generate reports for their certain departments.
Corporate Partnerships Manager
I am the day to day contact for our Corporate partners. I’m on hand to help with any queries that that they may have, suggest fundraising ideas and ensure they are updated with the progress of projects that they are supporting. Taking part in overseas house building trips has allowed me to see the impact of our work first hand. These experiences fuel my enthusiasm when talking to partners and helping them to achieve their targets. In my free time, I love to bake cakes, brownies, cupcakes, and anything else that is sweet, and I enjoy being active and outdoors.
Digital Engagement Manager
My role is to innovate and improve on the digital experience for our supporters. I plan for digital opportunities throughout the year and am also responsive to to any digital opportunities that emerge. Whilst managing our digital fundraising and engagement campaigns I identify new opportunities for supporters to interact with us. I enjoy being creative and finding new ways to interact with our supporters through interesting and eye-catching stories that will inspire more people to support Habitat for Humanity Great Britain’s work.
My role is to ensure the smooth running of financial systems at Habitat for Humanity Great Britain. I am responsible for timely and accurate processing of all transactions and work with all of our teams to make sure that the utilisation of funds is in line with the agreements made, and that we have all the supporting documents required for audits.
Programme Development Officer
I am involved in the designing and developing of project proposals which are considered by trusts, foundations, and institutional donors. I monitor the implementation of active projects and ensure that progress reports are submitted to our donors which highlight the transformative impact that their support makes.
Head of Philanthropy, Trusts, and Foundations
My role focusses on working closely with donors and funders who want to invest in our vision. I have a background in fundraising for a range of organisations and causes, including social welfare issues in the UK and international development. I am part of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Central South committee and I enjoy building relationships with supporters. I also enjoy developing donor partnerships in order to support the growth of Habitat for Humanity Great Britain.
Operations Support Staff
Swati supports the CEO, finance team, and HR functions at Habitat for Humanity Great Britain. Attending meetings to record accurate minutes and assisting CEO in updating his calendar and scheduling Board and Finance meetings. Looking after payroll, staff expenses, new employee onboarding, and updating staff annual leaves are just some of the many other tasks Swati does day-to-day.

In my role I work closely with our amazing Corporate Partners to raise funds and awareness for our programmes both in the UK and globally. I am passionate about joining forces with partners who share our goals and values, as together we can achieve far greater impact than by working on our own. I enjoy working closely with businesses, building partnerships which have a transformational impact on the lives of our beneficiaries and create meaningful opportunities to engage employees in Habitat for Humanity’s work.

Chief Executive Officer
Gareth has worked for Habitat for Humanity since 2004 and has experience of nearly all of the functions needed to develop and support the building of homes for people in housing need. He has been CEO for over a decade and has overseen the development of programmes that see empty homes and spaces bought back into use as housing. Before joining the team, Gareth worked in procurement for a large luxury retailer. Prior to that he gained a music degree from Goldsmiths’ College. Outside of work, he is an active member of large Anglican church in Peckham and enjoys walking in countryside and also tasting a wide variety of wines from around the world.
Business Development Manager
I am an experienced chartered architect with over 20 years of design and project management experience in private, commercial and voluntary sectors. Prior to 2011, I worked for 12 years at an award-winning London Architectural practice on a wide range of mixed-use projects, often with retail as the main commercial driver. Since then, I have been working with Habitat for Humanity in London in a strategic Business Development role, focussed on increasing the projects, network and partnerships delivering innovative affordable housing solutions and other community-led initiatives. I am passionate about my family, faith and getting involved in my local community.
Arthur began his journey in 2007 by volunteering on the Star of India project assisting our Construction Manager at that time. He is now Site Coordinator and carries out a crucial facilitation role along with estimations, budget planning and working directly with contractors and volunteers on site. Arthur obtains materials for projects and deals with various aspects of Health & Safety for construction phases by working alongside our Corporate Relations Manager to oversee all aspects of volunteering. He is also an avid Chelsea supporter and owns a full set of Chelsea F.C. mugs which no-one else dares to use!
Corporate Relations Manager
Kaia joined the team at the start of 2015 in an Assistant Volunteer Manager role. She has been a very talented addition to our team over the years and now manages local corporate relationships for the GB Homes team, liaising closely with the wider UK and International Fundraising team. Kaia also manages the corporate volunteers who support our community and housing projects. Kaia's favourite part of her role is ensuring our corporate partners and volunteers have everything they need to enjoy their unique experience with us.
I volunteered on our Gordon Road project nearly 20 years ago, and once Gordon Road was completed I became a subcontractor and volunteer. This developed into a full-time role in 2017, and I now supervise our corporate and community volunteer teams, students, contractors and subcontractors. I am also involved in health and safety and setting up our sites where required. My primary aim is to make sure that all who visit our sites and projects have a safe and fun day.
Chris, or ‘CJ’ as he is known, is a freelance bookkeeper and a professional singer. For a decade of his life, he spent time singing with the world-renowned Swingle Singers. Since 2015, he has been bookkeeping for Habitat for Humanity and developing his management accountancy skills under the experienced eye of our Treasurer. Chris fulfils a vital support role for the whole team. Alongside his work, he is currently studying Nutritional Therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and has an interest in crypto currencies. He also is known to enjoy a nice glass of red wine!
Giles is an experienced Architectural Consultant who has been involved in the delivery of complex projects within agreed budget and time constraints. He possesses experience in leading design teams in the planning and design of buildings and is an adaptable, effective communicator. Giles is an innovative professional who seeks to get to the core of issues and promote viable solutions to achieve good outcomes for clients and partners. Giles has been instrumental in developing processes around tender and construction stages of our projects.
My role is to support the design and delivery of our social housing projects and on-going empty property refurbishment programmes as well as project management on our community projects. My previous experience includes designing higher education, laboratory and residential and office buildings. I enjoy working with existing buildings and exploring how they can be re-used both functionally and sustainably. I am passionate about using good design to improve people's lives, sustainability of buildings, and furthering the opportunities of young people in the construction profession through hands-on building workshops with teenagers and university students.
