A message from our CEO

The serious threat of Coronavirus calls upon us to stay connected and help shape the world around us for the better.

Our CEO, Tum Kazunga, has recorded the following message from the back garden of his house where he is self isolating during the Coronavirus pandemic.

At Habitat for Humanity Great Britain, we have postponed all of our overseas’s volunteering programmes, we have closed our office and organised for our staff to work from home, and we have cancelled our postal spring appeal as we won’t  ask our supporters to compromise their safety with a trip to the post office.

We have created a digital campaign designed to inspire you with stories of how other communities around the world are staying safe using resources provided over the years from Habitat for Humanity. We will continue to update and share more stories in the coming weeks.

The spirit of generosity and desire to give back that has been inspiring our supporters for decades is needed now more than ever as we all come together in a global effort to stop the spread of Coronavirus.

By working together, we can all play a part, and we can all make a difference.
